Investing in lithium: Could this, UK made, battery be the solution for electric vehicles?
Backed by its own patents, could the company that makes this new light weight lithium battery, provide the answer that the likes of Tesla are after? SP Angel mining analyst John Meyer brings in a sample of the new ‘lithium packed’ battery cell that he says is awaiting full development at a factory in the UK. The, as yet unnamed, company owns the intellectual property rights and Meyer discusses the possibilities and says that the initial ‘feedback’ has been good and that the company is further advanced than either Tesla or Panasonic, two of the world’s largest and most advanced battery manufacturers.
